IN WHICH BEAR EXPLAINS (APOLOGIZES)

Bear  had hoped by now to have published three items on which he has been working.

However, Bear finds depression and creative writing do not go hand in hand. (It has been an "interesting" summer in that regard.) So the posts will be delayed. Next week, perhaps.

Sorry you're not feeling right, Rob. You know we'll all be here when you're feeling like a bear in tip-top shape again. And of course, there's no need to apologize. Sending warm, healing thoughts your way.

I think the solution to your depression is close at hand, or am I wrong? Why don't you take the most obvious step? You will feel much better soon. I hate to see you down and out.

I'm sorry Bear. We'll all be waiting for you. Sometimes I miss the dark places myself....not just depression, but the really dark places. I seem to be able to write better when I'm in them. Unusual I think. Know that I'm thinking of you ♥

Sorry too that things are rough right now - I do miss you. Sandie

You sounded pretty chipper to me Bear!!
I think what you need is a little bit of honey to sweeten your mood.;)

I am sorry you are feeling poorly.
Hope it's nothing serious.

I wrote my 98,000 word manuscript while in a deep bout of depression. But it was escapism for me. What you're doing might need more active brain cells than what I did.

You are ALWAYS in my thoughts dear Bear.

Looking forward to seeing your next post, Bear.

Meanwhile. You write well, and have many good thoughts to express. Write them on paper, perhaps?

Posting hereabouts is a totally different thing altogether.

We understand, Bear. It's feeding time up there. Get some nourishment for that long winter ahead.

BEAR!!!! Furry chin up, buddy-boo! I am regularly in and out of depression and I HATE it when somebody says chin up - but I want to put a smile on that face so I'll say it again - chin up! And HUGS! Big bear hugs!

Dear Rob,

Give yourself time.

Oh Bear....feel better. I am thankful for all your comments. You are awesome! I didn't see you in Depression-land but that could be because I was traveling fast and am now at a place I have never been before. Not a good place. Allow yourself to feel your feelings.

Depression sucks. Send it down here and I'll kick its fanny and send it back chastened and sweet.

It seems to me not only is depression not unusual these days but it's also much more common among sensitive souls. I hope you feel better soon.

You know what...it is JUST blogging!! I finally realized that a while back...no pressure...no nothing...other things are really more important and we should definatly not let our ego get in the way of life or what is really important. We will be here when you have the time and desire to blog...for sure not a reason to apologize for anything!

5HTP. I swear by it. Grab some…take some…every night.

It's natural.

It's good.

And it helps.

I hope things turn around for you soon. xoxoxoxox

Aw, you folks are so kind to an old Bear.

I am Bearing up, as JC suggested. And for the record, Janie, I thought HTP was something you put in the gas tank of your car. But I suppose if it has that much get up and go, Bear should try it. And hopefully not get gassed.

See you anon, friends!
