SOMETHING'S HAPPENED!

While I wasn't looking, a whole bunch of followers added themselves to my blog. It happened during our "moving experience," as in moving from one home to the next.

I find these additions are both pleasing and troubling.

Pleasing, insofar as people are interested in what I write. Thank you for joining me on my adventure, which is now our adventure.

Troubling, in that I try to treat my "followers" as friends, and keep up with what they are doing, and with what is happening in their lives.

Keeping up with ten or twenty people is not too difficult. Keeping up with 72 is going to be a major challenge. So I'm going to apologize in advance, that I may not get to visiting you for a while, and I may not be able to visit that often.

Again, thank you for following along.

Bear, don't you worry about that... I'll always know you are out there with a lovely view of the river and we can touch base from time to time... No pressure. Just enjoy the interest in a very special Bear.

So glad that you are "moved" and that it will begin to really feel like home.

Bises,
Genie

Isn't the world of blog a magical thing? No worries, we love you no matter how often you visit us.

I've had the same problem Bear as I do try to read EVERYONE that comments on my blog. But you'll find that not everyone posts daily or even weekly and that helps. Also if I've been gone for a few days, I'll just sit and catch up when I have extra time. Sort of like reading the Sunday paper, only much more interesting!
Love Di ♥

Bear, quand le loisr devient une obligation, ce n'est plus un loisir. Just relax and enjoy your popularity and we will take note of your occupations.
Au revoir Ours en mouvement.

You'll soon know who posts frequently, who visits often. Then, you will be able to prioritize and visit as often as your time allows. I had the same worries too.
Thanks so much, btw for your lovely friendship.

I was going to say "you're welcome" and tease you that the new followers were my readers, but I have none to spare. Just know that there is a true feeling of love that I have had for you for....ages. And your new followers are here because they know you're loveable.

® Genie: Thanks for your kindness. I'm "Bearing up," and life is starting to become more normal. I'll soon be back to checking the Paris scene on a regular basis.

® Helen: Yes; blogging is magical. I'm more or less to the place where I can start visiting again.

® Diana: You have a paper on Sunday? I'll bet it's not as much fun as reading bloggers.

® rosaria: Thanks for the tip about blogging priorities, my fine friend.

® Dana: Thank you for sending readers over. How much do I owe you?

® Amanda: I'm still busy unpacking, so I haven't been doing too much enjoying, yet. Where did all these boxes come from? Did some of yours get lost on your return trip from South America, and end up at my place?

Well I always enjoy your visits whatever the frequency. The new set of followers is a testament to your writing! Blogging is a interesting and twist and turn thing - isn't it/

Congratulations on the move. I hope you settle in quickly and comfortably. I’m so glad I found you through the A to Z challenge. I look forward to visiting again.

Blogging should be a pleasure not a duty, I'm sure we all appreciate a visit once in a blue moon, or never in fact, it's just good to catch up with news sometimes.

How's things your end?

r-bear,

boxes have a strange way of proliferating. if some from my trip to south america did end up at your place, you'll know by the presence of coatis, jacares and other exotic creatures that i couldn't 'bear' to leave behind :D

Mr. Bear ... I've heard it said black bears can eat black licorice, why don't you live dangerously and give it a try?

Apologies Mr Bear for the multiple comments, I kept getting an out of service message, and was getting rather frantic that I couldn't reach you. I will stop my stalking now.

How nice to have more bear fans. I am sure you'll make time for all your new friends.

Best bet when you are busy or otherwise occupied is just a quick comment, on your blog, to those who comment on your posts... We all get caught up at some stage and understand... i have been indisposed lately and still hear from my bloggy friends... Your ~friends~ will stay in touch regardless X:-)

Huge apologies dear Bear, just catching up. Have just left messages to latest blog, wonderful views to your new home Bear, hope you will be very happy in your new home.

I am not surprised Bear has many followers, that's because Bear is a kind lovable Bear.!

Best Wishes.!

OH, DEAR! I've missed replying to a whole bunch of you. So sorry.

® About Last Weekend: Thanks for the kind words, Jody.

® Sylvia: Thanks so much for coming to visit. Hope you can come again.

® Suburbia: Blogging and commenting; rather like a delightful visit over tea of coffee.
I'm still not completely organized. And the light I saw at the end of the tunnel was a freight train — coming my way!

® Amanda: Nothing as exciting in the boxes as you have described. Sigh. If only. . . .

® Helen: I have tried black licorice — pipes, cigars, etc. But being a Brown bear, they weren't entirely to my liking. Surely you understand.

® Lins'lleisio: Shw mae, again. As I said, blogging is like a nice chat. Newsy, friendly, that sort of thing.
And I'm not worried if you repeat yourself, repeat yourself, repeat yourself, repeat yourself. But Bears, a hunted species, do not like to be stalked! Coming for a friendly visit, however, is another thing entirely.

® Better is Possible: Thanks so much for coming to visit. I really like it when I find another Canadian in the blogsphere.

® GutsyWriter: I always try to make time for visitors; I don't always succeed. Thanks for your many visits.

® nollyposh: Thanks for the note, and for coming by to visit. Hope you're doing better.

That seems to be everyone. Sometimes, when so many of you come at once, I'm afraid I'll miss someone. No offence intended!
