JACK LAYTON IN HIS HOME, BEFORE

The following is a short piece from The Rick Mercer Report on CBC television. Mercer was invited for lunch to the Layton's home.

It would be from a year or so ago. It's a very brief insight into some of Mr. Layton's life. This is a guy who walks the talk.

Thanks for the link to the video. I watched his State funeral twice on Saturday. What an impact his death has had on his beloved Canada. All that said, how sad to lose such a caring, compassionate leader at such a young age.

® Better is Possible: An incredible loss to Canada. Even the Prime Minister agreed with that sentiment, and offered a state funeral. We need a few "larger than life" people here to get things going. We can only hope! And work.
