Your house is SOLD, which releases some of your trepidation...but in my mind, being in the same position as you, I see it as the "changing of the guard" and quite a sad fact of life that - until now - I only watched happening to those older than me.
Now, I'm the old one, moving on. Stepping up to the plate that younger people never envision happening to them.

I need to read back or catch up or something..I thought you already moved...are you moving again? I have to say..I like your posts better in your own voice...nothing against Sadie but...
® afcg: This is the only move about which I've spoken. There have been a lot of steps on the path, beginning with finding a new home for Miss Sadie. It's been a long process. And I feel better writing for me, instead of letting Sadie do it. Thanks for your observation.
® Nancy: "Something new to look forward to." Yes; I must keep reminding myself of that.
® Tattie Weasle: "New adventures!" Have to keep reminding myself of that, too.
® ALW: "Jubilation from being so free!" Well, yes, I suppose. Right now, I'm stuck in the "sadness with getting rid of things." A lifetime's worth of work, particularly. I probably should have cleared this out a long time ago.

And I had no idea you were doing the A-Z challenge. +Funny how me being out of things for a few months and just catching up, I find you had a blog all this time.
But I've found you now and hopefully you will return to us all soon. Comfortable, secure and happy in your new home (not Zoo!)

Seriously, take good care during this time of excitement, let down, highs, and lows. I always bawl my eyes out when I leave a place, even if I want to move! What an emotionally and physically draining thing it is.

Apologies for popping in late, so sorry to hear you have had a rough time of it lately, I had no idea about sweet Miss Sadie. I am sure you will miss her dreadfully. Perhaps the kind owners she is now with will let you pop in now and again to see her.

Shifting is a nightmare! There is sadness with getting rid of things but also jubilation from being so free! Good luck with everything!
