Ou est la ville?/Where's the city?
Sadie and I went for our morning walk, as per usual today.
Normally when we get to the park where the sanatorium used to be, we can see right across the river to the buildings on the east side of the city.
Not today.

i actually quite like foggy weather ------ as long as there are breaks when the sun shines through!
The mist has been hiding our views here too - but not today. Today we had frost and blue skies.
PS Thank you (or should I say merci beaucoup or diolch yn fawr?) for your comments on my post about cameras. I have just read your September photography post; keeping the 35mm one for b&w sounds a terrific idea.
We have had a lovely clear day here today, but strangely when it is clear it means that bad weather is on the way and tomorrow we are getting your rain.

I love the background picture to your post, it conjures up a beautiful summer's day, not so here in Norfolk, England.

Loving the wash of solitude that the fog lends to all views. The time to go within approaches, productive time, time to embrace what everyone else cannot see on the surface but what is a natural cycle for us all. Enjoy, and pleasant company kept with the delightful Miss Sadie x♥x

I do like the atmosphere of that photograph. I've always liked walking through a fog or misty landscape.
Also enjoyed reading your prior post about the tidying up of the yard. It is a lot of work, and the falling leaves of this season guarantee that more sessions will be required.

I love misty days. I think it comes from living most of my life in the dessert. Not to many of those where I live.
This is a beautiful photograph....and I find it soothing in so many ways. Lovely....simply lovely.

Strange, but the grass looks yellow and dry, not what I'd expect after rain.

® Nancy: True; there aren't many rivers or other large bodies of water that could give one such a fog in a the desert. Could this mean that desert people are clearer thinkers?

® Gutsy Writer: Interesting observation about the grass. I'm not sure of the explanation. Could be the camera and the light, or that fact that we've had frosty evenings.
