HIBERNATION TIME.

I've finally got a very melancholy Bear back into his den. Upset Bear, really. Too many difficult things going on.

Next time I won't wake him if something goes wrong, like the shooting of Rep. Giffords. He's really not coping well with a lot of things this year.

Time to let sleeping Bear lie.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts. Bear is hibernating very well. But I'll keep a close eye on him.

Bear, you need to come and see the little mermaid. She will cheer you up.

Go and enjoy your hibernation. Sadly the world can not be changed over night and will still be here, much as it currently is, when you wake up in Spring.

I've never had a dog comment on my blog before! What a wonderful surprise Miss Sadie. :)
Thanks so much for stopping by!

I hope that Bear feels better soon and has a nice sleep. ;p

Thanks, also, to those who have written recently. I check on Bear regularly, and he's doing just dandy, for a Bear in hibernation.

I've been checking your blogs, too, and have all kinds of interesting things to show Bear when he "comes to" in the spring. And some sad things, too, unfortunately.

And if you feel like hibernating, I suggest you do it. As Jacqueline said, wisely, "sometimes the world is just too much."

Thank you, Ms. Janine. Bear takes great comfort in his friends. I'll let him know that you've written (as have others) when he rouses.

Oh Miss Sadie, you're a great hound, indeed, with a phrase like "...your golden years are those when your give your gold to the doctors."

Bear should know I appreciate his sense of humor and wisdom modelled by you.
Whisper, happy dreams, into his ear.

Miss Sadie...Please, give Rob Bear a lick on his hand...a nudge now and then....rouse him gently and let him know that Jackie says hello and hopes that his hibernation is being good to him.
I'd send you some of our weather, but it's rainy right now...and you probably don't want the precipitaion with the cold you are having....sigh....makes a Bear just want to sleep longer.
It's funny about our weather here in the southern USA....when it rains here in the winter, the temp. outside is warm....and we don't get snow. When it's collllld outside, we NEVER get precipitation...sigh. We never see the winter wonderland that you and Rob get to enjoy.
Warm wishes for a snooze that is restful and relaxing!
Hugs and smiles,
Jackie

Thank you, Miss Jackie, for your kind thoughts. Bear is sleeping very soundly at this point, and I don't want to do anything that will disturb him. I've been worried about him; the last time I woke him up, things did not go well. Hence, "Let sleeping Bear lie."

However, when he wakes up, I'll get him to read your very delightful note.
