The sun is high. The sky is bright blue, with no clouds.
The air is warm (about 10°C, or 50°F).
The Elms and Poplars have lost most of their leaves.
Even the Larches are shedding their needles (leaves) on cue.
(Larches are the only coniferous trees to loose all their leaves
at one time.)
While I can usually walk only about a kilometre at a time,
Sadie and I have done three today,
two this morning, another one this evening.
Too nice a day to be inside.
I hope you had a wonderful day, too!

10C Is a freezing day here! Is it really considered a warm day there?
I found myself wondering how you were getting on yesterday - I think this post is proof enough.
Greetings from England, Rob.
® Natalie: -40C is a "freezing" day here, and we actually get some of those each year. 10C is still fairly balmy; t-shirt and shorts for the hardy. (I confess that I had on long pants and a long-sleeved shirt.) Maybe we Bears are made of sterner stuff than you folks in OZ. ;)
® FF/K: Thanks for dropping by, Julie. I have more to share on "Depression Hurts," but I'm getting some better perspective right now, thanks to my counsellor (who I saw yesterday).
Hope things "across the pond" are good; I recognize that your new job is challenging, and hope you're getting more accustomed to it.
Glad to read this post from you. You sound much better today. Hugs.
A x
Rob...I'm glad today was a beautiful day for you....truly.
Smiles from Jackie
What a difference in tone. I sense a joie de vivre. I'm happy to hear this. Keep walking.
Aww. Your Sadie Dog is a sweetie. I miss my yellow lab, Ralphy, so much. He passed on to doggy heaven three years ago.
That was a nice cheerful and encouraging post. Hopefully there will be a few more like it.
Hello Bear,
So sorry I have arrived late to your post, just trying to catch up.
Pleased to hear you are feeling much better Bear.
More gorgeous photo's of Miss Sadie, what a lovely girl she is.
Beautiful! I am longing for fall weather here, it's about 60 F here today. It is sunny, breezy and lovely.
Sadie is gorgeous! Is she a standard poodle, by chance?
You sound more upbeat. I am glad.
;-)
I'm a bit behind in my correspondence. So, . . .
At the time I wrote this, things were looking much happier. Now, almost a month later, things aren't so cheery, as some chronic pain problems have returned. I've gone from upbeat to beat up (a bit). Fortunately, things have only slowed me a little.
® Erin: Yes, Miss Sadie is a Standard Poodle — black and female. She is the third such dog we've had. While the first two were about 35 pounds, Her Ladyship is about 50 pounds. Not fat, but a larger frame. Yet, when it comes to walking her, that 15 pound difference is significant!
