THE TIDE IS HIGH

. . . and so is the river. NO; we're nowhere close to being flooded, as some places to the south-west of us have been. It's just that there's a lot of water around — and a lot of jokes about it. (If I could remember some, I'd tell you — but my brain is even less functional than usual today). I recall something about kids thinking their dad had put in a swimming pool; dad had to explain that's the field where he usually grows his crops. Well, um, anyhow. . . .

I very much hope you have a reasonable balance of wet and dry, wherever you are. I'm scheduled for minor surgery in a few weeks; the doctor's going to cut out the webbing that's grown between my toes during all this wet weather. But he has quack yet to determine quack what quack to do about quack these strange
noises that quack I've been making. Not ducky at all.

Oh dear...is it raining by any chance? ;-)

Just watch out for people with orange sauce.

Hope the sun comes out very soon.

We have been getting an unusual cool June so far, wet and cool. Nothing is growing, except moss.

® Reasons: Yes, Joanne; more rain tonight. You know the rule: sun tomorrow, sun yesterday, no sun today. The guys with orange sauce are closing in the Bear's den, and are about to get a Beary interesting surprise! Quack. Grrrrr! (Say, does this make me bilingual?)

® Rosaria: I'm going to be checking for new moss when I'm out next. I seen some over the last few days, but cannot recall where. Sigh! And you always get more rain than we do; I'm surprised (though happy) your home isn't floating or swamped.

Isn't it nice that you can smile...(and make me smile) rain or shine!
Thank you for that.
Hugs to you from Jackie

Don't stand still too long or you will start growing moss, too.

We've got very nice weather atm but I'd better not mention it or it might disappear. Good luck for the surgery - I'm sure you will be fine, you lovely bear you.

LOL! It's still cool here. Today seems like it might warm up, but it's been a very cool spring.

So the bear is now a duck. Please return to the Rob-bear we know. Je ne veux pas manger le canard a l'orange.
Bonne chance avec l'operation.

Rather dry down here, some drops now and then but nothing serious. Our rivers and water suuply are getting very low. Some boats at the marina near here are still in dry docks, not enough water to float them out.
Bonne chance pour l'opération et revenez-nous sans couac mais avec grrr.
